Piper Lynch dreams of a professional surfing career, but Lake Michigan and Chicago's nine cold months altered her ambitions. Now she'll settle for long walks on the beach.

Piper Lynch is a National Board Certified English Teacher and 2007 Golden Apple Finalist. She loves teaching and keeping in touch with former students (especially the ones who tell her how helpful Cornell Notes are after giving her a hard time about having to do them).

Piper loves reading, writing, learning, researching, cheeseburgers, traveling, questions, family time, friends, gerbera daisies, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, being a big nerd, and dancing like a fool. She finds all of these things enhance her teaching.
